Estee Lauder widened its loss in its fiscal fourth quarter as sales continued to struggle, and it issued a dismal full-year outlook. The beauty company behind MAC, Smashbox and Jo Malone, said Wednesday that costs tied to tariffs are projected to ding earnings by $100 million in its current fiscal year. Estee Lauder added it will try to offset “more than half” of the levies by leveraging trade programs and optimizing its supply chain.
