Romania’s trade deficit narrowed to €2.5 billion in September.
Producer prices in Norway fell 6.9% Y/Y in October. Norway’s annual inflation rate eased to 3.3% in October.
Household spending in Sweden rose 0.3% M/M in September.
The pan-European Stoxx 600 [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/STOXX] (STOXX) [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/STOXX] climbed 0.97% to 570.3, rebounding from three-week lows reached last week, amid optimism that the prolonged U.S. government shutdown. Sentiment improved after eight Democrats joined nearly all Republican senators to advance a bipartisan deal, passed 60–40, that would reopen the federal government and fund it through the end of January.
Besides, Gold climbed 2% to $4,080 per ounce, hovering near its highest level since October 24, driven by growing expectations of a Federal Reserve interest rate cut in December.
IN THE BOND MARKET, the yield on the US 10-year Treasury was up 5 basis points to 4.14%.
UK's 10-year yield was up 2 basis points to 4.49%.
Germany's 10-year yield was up 2 basis points to 2.69%.
