The U.S. State Department has signed off on a proposed deal to provide Nigeria with advanced munitions, including precision-guided bombs and rockets, according to a Pentagon announcement on Wednesday.
The estimated value of the package is $346 million, and the prospective defense contractors include Lockheed Martin (NYSE:LMT [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/LMT]), RTX Missiles and Defense (NYSE:RTX [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/RTX]), and BAE Systems (OTCPK:BAESF [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/BAESF]) (OTCPK:BAESY [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/BAESY]).
