Miran repeats Fed policy remains 'too restrictive'

Federal Reserve Governor Stephen Miran reiterated Wednesday that the central bank's monetary policy stance remains "too restrictive," pointing to lower inflation and policy lags.

"The way that we measure inflation lags behind where the market is by a significant amount of time," Miran said in a panel discussion at the University of Cambridge in the U.K.
