* MAIA Biotechnology (NYSE:MAIA) announced [https://seekingalpha.com/pr/20263719-maia-biotechnology-announces-736600-private-placement] that it has entered into definitive agreements for the purchase and sale of an aggregate of 0.60M shares of common stock at a purchase price of $1.22 per share in a private placement offering gross proceeds of $0.74M to authorized investors.
* Each common share will be issued with a warrant to buy one share at a price of $1.52 per share, in line with the NYSE minimum price requirement.
* The net proceeds from the offering will be used to fund the execution of Step 1 of Part C of the Phase II trial THIO-101 and for working capital.
