Kraig Labs shifts spider silk production to two new rearing centers in Southeast Asia

* Kraig Biocraft Laboratories (OTCQB:KBLB [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/KBLB]) on Tuesday said that it has fully transitioned its production to two new rearing centers located in Southeast Asia, replacing its original Prodigy Textiles pilot facility as the center of production.
* The facilities opened in early 2024; have produced more recombinant spider silk than all prior years combined, according to the company.
* The rearing centers combine advanced biotechnology with local sericulture expertise, climate advantages, and established infrastructure, and are now operated by Kraig's wholly owned subsidiary, Prodigy Silk.
* The 'Prodigy Textiles' brand will continue as a DBA of Kraig Labs.
* The company expects to complete the equipment transfer from its pilot site by the end of August 2025.
