Google introduces AI-powered Google Home Premium subscriptions

Tech giant Google (GOOGL [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/GOOGL]) (NASDAQ:GOOG [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/GOOG]) on Wednesday introduced new Google Home Premium subscription, replacing Nest Aware with Gemini for Home.

The company set the standard plan prices at $10/month or $100/year, which will offer features like Gemini Live for hotword-free conversations, Ask Home for automation help.

The new subscription will also include 30 days of video history and intelligent camera alerts.

The tech giant priced its Advanced Plan at $20 per month or $200 per year, including all Standard features plus new Gemini camera capabilities like AI event descriptions, Home Brief summaries and searchable video history with Ask Home.

Google said that Google Home Premium is included for Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers without any extra cost. AI Pro members get the Standard plan, which could be upgraded to Advanced for $10 per month, while AI Ultra subscribers will automatically receive Advanced plan, it added.
