* Nvidia (NVDA [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/NVDA]) will invest $1B in a green data center in Nuevo León, Mexico, the state's governor said [https://x.com/samuel_garcias/status/1988648809098789003?s=20] on Wednesday.
* The investment will bring Nvidia, or “the most important company in software and Artificial Intelligence,” to the region, Nuevo León governor Samuel Garcia said in a post on X, announcing the investment.
* Garcia added that he has instructed the secretary of economics for the Mexican state to create an office focused on investment, innovation and AI to attract additional companies and projects.
* Nvidia shares fell fractionally in Wednesday trading.
