Strategy acquires bitcoins worth $60.2M in past week, down W/W

Strategy (NASDAQ:MSTR [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/MSTR]) said [https://assets.contentstack.io/v3/assets/bltf8d808d9b8cebd37/blt41a67df64437849b/68c785f54a2c2dadaf122ab2/form-8-k_09-15-2025.pdf] in a Monday filing that it purchased 525 bitcoins for an aggregate price of $60.2M during the week of September 8 to September 14.

The average purchase price had come to $114,562.

Comparatively, the bitcoin treasury company's acquisitions had totaled $217.4M in the prior week.

Shares were -0.43% pre-market to $330.03.

As of September 14, the company's aggregate bitcoin holdings stood at 638,985 units of the cryptocurrency, acquired for an aggregate price of $47.23B and an average price of $73,913.

The bitcoin purchases were made using proceeds from the preferred stock offering.

The company had sold 302,503 Strategy Inc 10.00% SER A PERPETUAL STRIFE PFD STK (STRF [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/STRF]) shares for $34.0M; 181,228 Strategy Inc 8.00% SERIES A PERPETUAL STRIKE PFD (STRK [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/STRK]) shares for $17.3M; and 208,175 Perpetual Stride Preferred Stock (STRD [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/STRD]) shares for $16.9M.

Bitcoin (BTC-USD [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/BTC-USD]) was trading -0.35% Monday pre-market to $114,922.57.
