Most fund managers are not structurally allocated to crypto – BofA’s Global FMS

More than half of investors are not structurally allocated to cryptocurrencies, according to Bank of America’s Global Fund Manager Survey.

A whopping 67% of fund managers have about 0% of their portfolio allocated to crypto (BTC-USD [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/BTC-USD]), (ETH-USD [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/ETH-USD]), (XRP-USD [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/XRP-USD]), (USDT-USD [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/USDT-USD]) in September.

Only 3% of investor respondents said they have a 2% allocation. About 3% of them said they have a 4% allocation, and only 1% have an 8% allocation or more.

The weighted average FMS allocation to crypto is 0.4%, or 3.7% among FMS investors who are allocated to crypto, according to the survey.

Also, when asked about crypto allocation, 84% of FMS investors said they have not started to structurally allocate to crypto and only 8% said that they have.
