Stock index futures fell on Thursday, a day after Wall Street ended mostly lower, as investors continued to await Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell's speech at Jackson Hole on Friday. Here are four stocks to keep an eye on Thursday:

Walmart (WMT [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/WMT]) shares were down 3.4% in premarket trade as investors were left unimpressed even after the firm topped its sales expectations and upped [https://seekingalpha.com/news/4487827] its outlook. The company's sales got a boost from strong demand in e-commerce, higher average tickets, and strength in the advertising business.

Boeing (BA [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/BA]) stock was up 1.5% in extended trading as the firm [https://seekingalpha.com/news/4487856-boeing-eyes-major-china-order-with-talks-for-500-jets---report] is reportedly in talks to sell up to 500 aircraft to China. The discussions are ongoing, with details such as jet models and types still being finalized.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/HPE]) rose 2.9% before the opening bell after Morgan Stanley raised the firm to overweight from equal-weight, adding that the Juniper deal will be an earnings upside. HPE closed on the $14B acquisition on July 2.

Aegon (AEG [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/AEG]) stock was up 6.9% in premarket trade as it increased [https://seekingalpha.com/news/4487733-aegon-reports-1h-results-says-on-track-to-meet-2025-financial-targets] its currently ongoing share buyback program by EUR 200 million, taking the total H2 2025 share buyback to EUR 400 million. The firm also reported robust results for the first half.
