* Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/TSLA]) has released an over-the-air software update to resolve an issue that causes the front parking lights to be brighter than permitted.
* The action covers 63,619 units of 2024-2026 Cybertruck vehicles operating software prior to 2025.38.3.
* "The vehicle controller software may cause the front parking lights to be too bright and exceed the maximum light output, adversely affecting the vision of other drivers," according to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
* As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
