Supreme Court said to hear Trump's case to oust Fed's Cook on Jan. 21

The U.S. Supreme Court will hear arguments on Jan. 21 in a high-profile case challenging President Donald Trump's attempt to fire Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook, according to a media report on Wednesday.

In August, Trump moved to oust [https://seekingalpha.com/news/4489007-trump-fires-fed-fed-governor-lisa-cook] Cook over allegations of mortgage fraud that she has denied. The Fed governor has stayed on the job since then, as the legal fight progresses.

SCOTUS has previously said it would hear the case during its two-week sitting in January.
