First Solar (NASDAQ:FSLR [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/FSLR]) finished +8.9% on Wednesday, posting a 52-week intraday high $248.04, following several glowing analyst notes, including a stock price target hike to $300 from $198 at Citigroup, which pointed to the company's expansion of its U.S. production capacity as a key factor for the positive outlook.

While seeing a potential risk to FY 2025 guidance as additional tariffs on India create some uncertainty, Citi's Vikram Bagri reiterated his Buy rating on First Solar (NASDAQ:FSLR [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/FSLR]) and said "an imminent announcement regarding finishing capacity in the U.S., strong quarterly bookings, a looming Section 232 outcome, current AD/CVD investigation results, FEOC implementation in FY 2026, and a positive demand outlook led by data center/AI power needs should drive domestic pricing and the stock higher."

First Solar's (FSLR [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/FSLR]) "differentiated tech, low beta, strong cash generation, and catalyst-rich calendar should appeal to long-term investors," Bagri wrote.

Bank of America and BMO Capital maintained Buy/Outperform ratings on First Solar (FSLR [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/FSLR]), raising their price targets to $254 and $261, respectively, with the latter noting sentiment on U.S. module pricing has continued to improve and is consistent with its thesis on FSLR that "the stacking of various existing tariffs will create more headroom in price and continue to disconnect from RoW pricing."

Earlier this week, Baird and Susquehanna boosted their respective PTs to $264 and $273.
