Pepperdine’s Graziadio School of Business and Management has released its 2025 Most Fundable Companies list
Pepperdine University’s Graziadio Business School has announced the 15 winners of its 2025 Most Fundable Companies list, a national competition that recognizes promising U.S.-based startups with strong investment potential. Now in its eighth year, the program evaluated more than 2,300 early-stage companies from all 50 states, analyzing their business models, financial projections, intellectual property, market size, and team strength.
This year’s winning companies represent a diverse range of industries, from aerospace and medical technology to construction, consumer health, and sustainable packaging. The list includes Avol, a Brooklyn-based firm developing autonomous electric aircraft for goods delivery, and Azure Printed Homes, a Los Angeles company using recycled polymers and 3D printing to reduce the cost and timeline of home construction.
While the program aims to connect startups with investors and highlight business viability, university officials noted that selection to the Most Fundable Companies list does not represent investment advice or a solicitation of capital.
SUSTAINABILITY, TECH & HEALTHCARE TOP THE LIST
Other honorees include Butterfli Technologies, which offers accessible transportation through a software-as-a-service platform; Helix Earth Technologies, which is adapting NASA-inspired HVAC solutions to reduce energy usage; and ECO2MIX, which provides carbonic acid-based pH control services to agriculture and turf clients.
The 2025 cohort also includes several companies focused on healthcare and biotechnology. Siren Biotechnology, based in San Francisco, is building a universal immuno-gene therapy platform for cancer. Somnair, a Baltimore startup and one of three companies named a “Fan Favorite,” is developing a wearable, noninvasive treatment for sleep apnea. Microvascular Therapeutics of Tucson is working to transform ultrasound from a diagnostic tool into a therapeutic platform.
Consumer-focused ventures also made the list. Scarlet by RedDrop, headquartered in Compton, offers puberty education and personal care products for teens and tweens. Ink’d Greetings, a Phoenix-based company and another Fan Favorite, provides on-demand greeting card printing and personalization in retail environments. Mela Vitamins, based in Playa del Rey, develops science-backed supplements for people of color, addressing a historically underserved wellness market.
