China Mobile, the world’s largest mobile operator by subscriber base, today announced a significant expansion of its network infrastructure and service offerings. This strategic move is aimed at increasing coverage in underserved rural regions and providing enhanced mobile internet access to a wider customer base.
The expansion plan includes deploying new base stations and upgrading existing infrastructure to support advanced technologies like 4G and 5G. This will enable China Mobile to offer faster data speeds and improved network performance to its subscribers, especially in areas where connectivity has been limited.
In addition to network expansion, China Mobile is also focusing on developing new and innovative services to meet the evolving needs of its customers. These services include mobile payment solutions, cloud-based applications, and Internet of Things (IoT) platforms.
“We are committed to bridging the digital divide and providing access to reliable and affordable mobile services to all citizens,” said a China Mobile spokesperson. “This expansion plan is a key step towards achieving that goal.”
The expansion is expected to further solidify China Mobile’s position as the leading telecommunications provider in China and strengthen its competitiveness in the global market.
