Eurozone Trade Surplus Widens

The Eurozone’s trade surplus widened in May, according to data released today. Exports rose significantly, contributing to a surplus of €12.7 billion, compared to €7.2 billion in April. This positive development suggests a robust performance in the external sector of the Eurozone economy. The figures exceeded analysts’ forecasts, indicating stronger-than-anticipated global demand for Eurozone goods.
