There has been a continued uptick in speculative trading led by retail investors, Goldman Sachs' trading desk says [https://seekingalpha.com/news/4486328-retail-traders-are-now-critical-force-in-u-s-equity-markets-goldman-sachs].
"We believe this cohort will continue to be drivers in the market, especially in the small cap and meme names, as we see mutual fund and ETF outflows, small systematic impact, and modestly risk-on institutional positioning," analysts said.
