Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Utilities, Banking and Mining sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares lost 0.50%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Ennakl Automobiles (CSE:NKL), which rose 9.98% or 3.79 points to trade at 41.75 at the close. Meanwhile, Societe des Boissons du Maroc SA (CSE:SBM) added 6.03% or 120.00 points to end at 2,110.00 and S2M (CSE:S2M) was up 4.57% or 29.00 points to 664.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Afric Industries Sa (CSE:AFI), which fell 5.31% or 18.65 points to trade at 332.50 at the close. Lesieur Cristal (CSE:LES) declined 5.00% or 15.00 points to end at 285.00 and Miniere Touissit (CSE:CMT) was down 4.46% or 124.00 points to 2,656.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 41 to 13 and 7 ended unchanged.
Shares in Ennakl Automobiles (CSE:NKL) rose to 5-year highs; rising 9.98% or 3.79 to 41.75.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.05% or 0.03 to $62.01 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.05% or 0.03 to hit $65.88 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.08% or 2.55 to trade at $3,380.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.10% to 10.53, while USD/MAD rose 0.16% to 9.02.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.30% at 98.01.
