Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Personal & Household Goods and Chemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.32%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 6.60% or 6.30 points to trade at 101.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes AS (CSE:NSISb) added 2.79% or 10.90 points to end at 400.90 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 2.54% or 22.60 points to 912.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb), which fell 0.55% or 3.40 points to trade at 616.00 at the close. DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) declined 0.27% or 4.00 points to end at 1,468.50 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was down 0.25% or 4.00 points to 1,570.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 82 to 49 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.22% or 0.14 to $63.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.09% or 0.06 to hit $67.73 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.19% or 40.10 to trade at $3,421.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 1.02% to 6.37, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.47.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.97% at 97.56.
