France (CAC:IND [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/CAC:IND]) -0.23% to 7,809, consumer confidence in France held at 87 in September.

Among other European nations, Bank lending to households in the Eurozone rose by 2.5% Y/Y in August.

Producer prices in Sweden dropped by 0.7% Y/Y in August.

The annual growth rate of lending to Swedish households edged up to 2.7% in August.

The Swiss National Bank left its policy rate unchanged at 0% and reaffirmed its readiness to intervene in foreign exchange markets if needed.

Hungary’s current account surplus sharply widened in Q2.

The unemployment rate in Hungary rose to 4.4% in June-August 2025.

The pan-European Stoxx 600 [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/STOXX] (STOXX) [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/STOXX] turned 0.20% lower to 552.8, extending the prior session losses. Market sentiment turned cautious as traders weighed the monetary policy outlook particularly from the Fed amid a series of scheduled speeches from officials today.

Gold prices steadied around $3,750 per ounce on Thursday, holding near the record highs at the start of the week.

IN THE BOND MARKET, the yield on the 10-year Treasury held near 4.14% on Thursday after climbing in the prior session.

Germany's 10-year yield was down 2 basis points to 2.73%.

UK's 10-year yield was down less than 1 basis point to 4.68%.
