Jaguar Mining to raise ~C$25M through bought deal private placement

Jaguar Mining (OTCQX:JAGGF [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/JAGGF]) (TSX:JAG:CA [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/JAG:CA]) announced [https://seekingalpha.com/pr/20246867-jaguar-mining-inc-announces-bought-deal-life-private-placement-for-gross-proceeds-of-c-25_0] on Monday an ~C$25M private placement on a "bought deal" basis for the resale of 4,545,455 common shares at C$5.50 per share.

The gold mining and exploration company will grant the underwriters an option to purchase for resale up to an additional 545,455 offered shares for up to ~C$3M.

Net proceeds are intended to be used to fund the restart of the Turmalina Mine at the company's MTL Complex, exploration activities, as well as general working capital and corporate purposes.

The offering is scheduled to close on October 15.
