Netflix (NFLX) shares are up on a 10-to-1 share split and a report that the streaming giant is considering entering a bidding war with Paramount Skydance (PSKY) for Warner Bros Discovery (WBD). Also in streaming, Disney (DIS) channels including ESPN and ABC went dark on YouTube TV (GOOG, GOOGL) as a pricing dispute between the two companies remains unresolved. And Taylor Swift's publisher Universal Music (UMG.AS) ends a copyright lawsuit and announces a new AI music platform.

But let's start in South Korea where Nvidia's latest expansion is already lifting tech stocks in Soul. The chipmaker will supply 260,000 uh 260,000 Blackwell AI chips to some of the country's biggest conglomerate, Hyundai, Samsung, SK Group and Naver.

The chips will power everything from smart factories and autonomous vehicles to semiconductor manufacturing. The chips um will also look to uh expand what we already know with the AI trade at large.

Samsung alone plans to deploy about 50,000 Nvidia GPUs for use in mobile devices, robotics, and new memory units for AI chips. Samsung shares are up over 100% this year as the company leans harder into artificial intelligence.

And over in Hollywood, Netflix is on the move. Shares are up about 3% in early trading after the company confirmed a 10 for one stock split, saying that it wants to make its shares more accessible to employees.

Also juicing the stock a bit this morning, Reuters is reporting that Netflix is preparing a bid for Warner Brothers Discovery's studio and streaming assets. The company has hired advisors to help shape that offer, which would pit Netflix against Paramount Skydance in what's shaping up to be a Hollywood bidding war.

And speaking of streaming showdowns, Disney's networks including ESPN and ABC went dark on YouTube TV overnight after the two sides failed to reach a new carriage deal before the midnight deadline.
