Strategy purchases $51.4M of bitcoin in past week,

Strategy (NASDAQ:MSTR [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/MSTR]) bought 430 bitcoins [https://seekingalpha.com/filing/10315450] (BTC-USD [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/BTC-USD]) for a total price of $51.4M during Aug. 11-17, 2025, the bitcoin treasury and business software company said on Monday.

The recent transactions acquired the original crypto at an average price of $119.7K per token.

Strategy (NASDAQ:MSTR [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/MSTR]) stock slid 1.2% in Monday premarket trading as bitcoin's (BTC-USD [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/BTC-USD]) price dropped 2.4% to $115.4K.

The modest purchase brings the company's total bitcoin holdings to 629,378, valued at $46.15B.

Strategy (MSTR [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/MSTR]) also updated its intended use of proceeds from the company's at-the-market equity program. "When mNAV, as defined by Strategy, is below 2.5x, Strategy will tactically issue MSTR shares to (1) pay interest on debt obligations, (2) fund preferred equity dividends, and (3) when otherwise deemed advantageous to the Company." The guidance differed from its previous guidance by adding the third option.

In a slide in a filing, the company said it calculates mNAV by dividing enterprise value by bitcoin net asset value.

During Aug. 11- Aug. 17, Strategy (MSTR [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/MSTR]) sold no shares under its common equity ATM. However, it sold 179,687 STRK shares for total net proceeds of $19.3M, 162,670 STRF shares for net proceeds of $19.0M, and 140,789 shares of STRD shares for net proceeds of $14.1M, resulting in total net proceeds of $50.4M.
