Strategy acquires 3,081 bitcoins for ~$357M in past week

Strategy (NASDAQ:MSTR [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/MSTR]) said [https://assets.contentstack.io/v3/assets/bltf8d808d9b8cebd37/blta457fda90cf3345c/68abb51b7119ea801fdaf56e/form-8-k_08-25-2025.pdf] on Monday that it acquired 3,081 bitcoins for $356.9M in the week ended August 24, compared to [https://seekingalpha.com/news/4486517-strategy-purchases-514m-of-bitcoin-in-past-week] 430 BTC for $51.4M in the week before.

Bitcoin (BTC-USD [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/BTC-USD]) fell 3.38% to $113,493.21 during the past week. MSTR shares were -4.26% Monday pre-market to $342.89.

During the period of August 18 to August 24, the bitcoin treasury company purchased bitcoins for an average purchase price of $115,829.

Last week's acquisition brings MSTR's total BTC holdings to 632,457. The aggregate purchase price comes to $46.50B and the average purchase price comes to $73,527.

Last week, the company sold 875,301 shares of common stock for net proceeds of $309.9M under its at-the-market program.

Additionally, the company sold 210,100 Strategy Inc 8.00% SERIES A PERPETUAL STRIKE PFD (STRK [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/STRK]) preferred shares for net proceeds of $20.4M; 237,336 Strategy Inc 10.00% SER A PERPETUAL STRIFE PFD STK (STRF [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/STRF]) preferred shares for $26.6M; and 944 Perpetual Stride Preferred Stock (STRD [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/STRD]) shares for $0.1M.
