Bed Bath & Beyond requests tZERO board replace its CEO

Bed Bath & Beyond (NYSE:BBBY [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/BBBY]) is requesting that the tZERO board replace its chief executive officer.

Bed Bath (NYSE:BBBY [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/BBBY]) sent a letter [https://seekingalpha.com/pr/20218021-bed-bath-and-beyond-inc-requests-tzero-board-of-directors-replace-tzero-ceo] on Tuesday as tZERO's largest holder, asking that tZERO board to replace its CEO.

"After careful consideration, we are respectfully requesting that the Board make a strong recommendation to change leadership at the CEO position so the company can move forward with urgency," Bed Bath Executive Chairman Marcus Lemonis wrote in the letter.

Bed Bath (BBBY [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/BBBY]) wants the tZERO board to meet within the next 48 hours to deliberate and make a decision on the matter.
