Cboe Global Markets multiply-listed options ADV climbs 17% M/M in August

Cboe Global Markets's (BATS:CBOE [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/CBOE]) multiply-listed options average daily volume [https://seekingalpha.com/pr/20222301-cboe-global-markets-reports-trading-volume-for-august-2025]("ADV") climbed to 14.33M contracts in August, up 17% from July and 39% from August 2024, the company said on Thursday.

August ADV across all four U.S. options exchanges hit an all-time high of 19.2M contracts. S&P 500 Index options ADV of 3.8M contracts was its second-best month ever.

Index options ADV increased 9.5% M/M and 11% Y/Y to 4.89M contracts.

Futures ADV increased 22% M/M and slid 31% Y/Y to 218K contracts.

U.S. equities, on-exchange, ADV was 1.65B matched shares, down 8.1% M/M and up 31% Y/Y.

Canadian equities ADV of 148.5M matched shares edged down 1.0% M/M and climbed 7.8% Y/Y.

European equities ADV of €10.7B dropped 14% M/M and increased 26% Y/Y

Global FX ADV of $48.8B ticked up 0.6% M/M and dipped 4.9% Y/Y.
