* Strategy (MSTR [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/MSTR]) is the largest corporate holder, accounting for nearly 63.6% of the total with 636,505 BTC, while the top 10 companies combined hold 863,397 BTC, nearly 86%.
* Corporate bitcoin accumulation began in earnest with Strategy in 2020, followed by Metaplanet (OTC:MTPLF [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/MTPLF]) in 2024, with notable growth continuing into 2025.
* Other significant holders include MARA Holdings (MARA [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/MARA]) having 50,639 bitcoins, Bullish (BLSH [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/BLSH]) 24,000 bitcoins, and RIOT Platforms (RIOT [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/RIOT]) holding 19,239 bitcoins.
* Bitcoin dominance eased to just above 58% and bitcoin retreated to below $110,000 after it hit a record high above $124,000.
* Strategy shares have fallen roughly 30% since their mid-July 2025 peak, while Metaplanet has lost about two-thirds of its value since late May.
