Trump-linked American Bitcoin more than doubles mining capacity to 24 EH/s

American Bitcoin (NASDAQ:ABTC [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/ABTC]) has acquired and energized ~14 exahash-per-second (EH/s) of installed hashrate across ~16,300 ASIC servers, it said [https://seekingalpha.com/pr/20220713-american-bitcoin-expands-bitcoin-mining-operations-by-2_4x-from-10-eh-s-to-24-eh-s]on Thursday.

This brings American Bitcoin's total installed hashrate from ~10 EH/s to ~24 EH/s with an average fleet efficiency of ~16.4 joules per terahash (J/TH) as of September 1, 2025.

Shares in American Bitcoin (NASDAQ:ABTC [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/ABTC]), the bitcoin mining company backed by Eric and Donald Trump, Jr., soared [https://seekingalpha.com/news/4491837-american-bitcoin-stock-surges-paused-four-times-on-volatility]as much as 100% in early trading on Wednesday, its first session after combining with Gryphon Digital Mining to make it a publicly traded company.

American Bitcoin (ABTC [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/ABTC]) is down 9% in premarket trading on Thursday.

"We are rapidly executing on a differentiated dual strategy to build Bitcoin-per-share," said Asher Genoot, Executive Chairman of American Bitcoin.

"In Q2 2025, our cost of revenue per Bitcoin mined was approximately 50% of our revenue per Bitcoin mined," Genoot added.

The purchased miners are deployed at the 205-megawatt Vega data center developed and operated by Hut 8 (NASDAQ:HUT [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/HUT]), an integrated energy infrastructure platform and American Bitcoin's exclusive infrastructure provider.
