Euronet Worldwide prices $850 million convertible senior notes

* Euronet Worldwide (NASDAQ:EEFT [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/EEFT]) priced [https://seekingalpha.com/pr/20200482-euronet-worldwide-prices-850-million-0_625-percent-convertible-senior-notes-offering] $850 million in aggregate principal amount of 0.625% convertible senior notes due 2030 in a private placement to qualified institutional buyers.
* The company has granted the initial purchasers the right to buy up to an additional $150 million in aggregate principal amount of the notes.
* The offering of the notes is expected to close on August 15, 2025.

The notes will be general unsecured obligations of Euronet and will bear interest at a rate of 0.625% per year, payable semiannually in arrears on April 1 and October 1 of each year, beginning on April 1, 2026. The notes will mature on October 1, 2030, unless earlier converted, redeemed or repurchased.

Net proceeds will be used to repay borrowings outstanding under its existing unsecured revolving credit facility. If the initial purchasers exercise their option to purchase additional notes, Euronet expects to use the net proceeds from the sale of the additional notes to repay additional indebtedness under its revolving credit facility or for other general corporate purposes.
