Germany records lower-than-expected trade surplus in July

Germany recorded a trade surplus of €14.70 billion in July of 2025, lower than estimates of €15.4B.

German exports fell by 0.6% and imports by 0.1%, calendar- and seasonally adjusted, compared to June 2025.

Compared to the same month of the previous year, July 2024, exports increased by 1.4% and imports by 4.3%.
