Allegion acquires Brisant, a UK-based provider of residential security hardware

* Allegion (NYSE:ALLE [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/ALLE]) said on Wednesday that it has acquired [https://seekingalpha.com/pr/20199412-allegion-acquires-brisant-leading-uk-provider-of-residential-security-hardware] Brisant Secure, a security hardware provider in the UK.
* Founded in 2011 and based in Dewsbury, UK, Brisant sells a range of residential security solutions, including mechanical and electronic locks as well as door accessories.
* Brisant will report into the Allegion International segment.
* Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
