KKR to acquire NewDay's consumer credit receivables portfolio from Cinven, CVC

KKR (NYSE:KKR [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/KKR]) is set to acquire [https://www.cinven.com/news-insights/kkr-agrees-to-acquire-newdays-consumer-credit-portfolio-from-cinven-and-cvc/] UK-based specialty finance company NewDay's portfolio of consumer credit receivables from the private equity firms Cinven and CVC Capital Partners (OTC:CVCCF [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/CVCCF]).

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The portfolios will continue to be operated and serviced as they are today by the NewDay Operating Group. Cinven and CVC will remain invested in NewDay.

The transaction is expected to close at the end of September.
