It won't be issued as planned on Friday, because the Bureau of Labor Statistics won't collect or release data during the shutdown. Will other economic releases also be affected? For example, if the shutdown is prolonged, the next monthly inflation report from the Labor Department, due in mid-October, could be delayed.
