Spain's GDP expands 2.8% in Q3, flash estimates show

Spain's GDP grew 0.6% Q/Q in the three months to September 2025, easing from 0.8% in the previous quarter and in line with expectations, according to preliminary estimates.

Year-on-year, GDP increased 2.8%, slightly below 3.1% in the second quarter and close to market expectations of 3.0%.

Retail sales increased 0.50% in September of 2025 over the previous month. Y/Y retail sales rose 4.2% in September of 2025, down slightly from August’s 4.7% increase, but still reflecting healthy consumer spending.
