Japanese Yen hangs near nine-month low against USD as BoJ rate hike uncertainty persists

The Japanese Yen (JPY) languishes near a nine-month low, touched against its American counterpart the previous day, following Bank of Japan (BoJ) Governor Kazuo Ueda's remarks that the underlying inflation is gradually accelerating toward the 2% goal.
