Casual footwear brand Crocs has named Carly Gomez as senior vice president and chief marketing officer. The 20-year omnichannel marketing expert joins after most recently serving as CMO for Fabletics following a previous 16-year tenure at Vans, where she held marketing roles with increasing responsibility across global markets.

Levi Strauss & Co.

Denim purveyor Levi Strauss has named Chris Callieri as senior vice president and chief supply chain officer, effective Sept. 15. He will join the company’s executive leadership team and helm the brand’s global supply chain operations. His responsibilities will include product development, sourcing, global supply management, sustainability and distribution and logistics. Callieri joins Levi’s from Victoria’s Secret, where he served as chief supply chain officer since November 2022. Before that, he led the sustainability strategy and execution for Tory Burch, spending five years with the label, and held various senior roles at Adidas.

Skims, the shapewear brand co-founded by Kim Kardashian, has named Robin Gendron as its first president of the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) division. Gendron previously served as president of EMEA at Michael Kors and brings over 15 years of experience across wholesale, retail, merchandising and operations to Skims in his newly-created position.

Valentino

Italian luxury house Valentino has named Riccardo Bellini as chief executive, effective Sept. 1. Bellini has spent nearly 30 years in the industry, previously serving as CEO for Chloé and Maison Margiela, with earlier stints including 10 years at Diesel and 11 years at Procter & Gamble. In January, Bellini was named managing director at Qatari investment fund Mayhoola, Valentino’s majority holder, per his LinkedIn.

Caleres

Portfolio of consumer-driven footwear brands Caleres has named Kathleen Welter as chief human resources officer. Doug Koch, current chief human resources officer, will remain with the company for a month-long transition period with Welter and to support special projects until his retirement at year-end. In this role, Welter will oversee the human resources functions for the company’s portfolio of brands and global associates, including recruitment, talent management, training, culture, compensation, benefits and labor law compliance.

Kohl’s

Department store chain Kohl’s has named Steven Dee as chief technology officer, effective Aug. 25. Dee will be responsible for overseeing all technology and information platforms supporting Kohl’s omnichannel business, ultimately in support of broader strategies. He brings more than 25 years of experience and previously ran technology operations at Nike, Hayneedle and J.Crew. Most recently, he was chief information and technology officer for American skincare and haircare company Rodan + Fields.

Marks & Spencer

British multinational retailer Marks & Spencer announced that non-executive director and prominent businessman Justin King will step down from the board. The former Sainsbury’s CEO joined the board in 2019—though he previously served as a director for the retailer’s food division; King left M&S in 2004 to helm Sainsbury. He’s credited with implementing a recovery program that bore the UK supermarket chain 19 consecutive quarter gains. King’s departure from the M&S board is effective Sept. 10.

Target

Following Minneapolis household-name retail chain Target’s declining sales and dampened consumer perception, which followed backtracked DEI initiatives, chair and CEO Brian Cornell has resigned. He joined Target in August 2014 as the company’s first-ever external CEO, TK said, following CEO Gregg Steinhafel’s abrupt departure. Effective Feb. 1, 2026, chief operating officer Michael Fiddelke will replace Cornell, who’s concurrently transitioning to executive chair of Target’s board of directors.

Logistics

Cart.com

Commerce solutions provider Cart.com has named Sam Bowman as chief marketing officer. Bowman joined Cart.com last April through the company’s acquisition of Amify, a provider of Amazon optimization and advertising solutions, where he most recently served as senior vice president and head of marketing. During his tenure, Bowman built the company’s marketing motion from the ground up, ultimately tripling Amify’s revenue and supporting a successful exit to Cart.com in early 2024.
