Aon has made changes to its executive team in the Reinsurance Solutions division, as part of its strategic initiative to focus on growth across the Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.

Andrew Secker has been appointed as the EMEA chief client officer (CCO), while Daniele De Bosini will take on the role of EMEA chief broking officer (CBO).

Secker has over 20 years of career at Aon, having most recently serving as head of EMEA regional clients for Reinsurance Solutions.

In the new role, Secker’s responsibility will encompass the enhancement of service delivery to the firm's insurance clients within the EMEA region.

De Bosini, who has been part of the Aon team for four years, served as EMEA strategic growth leader for Reinsurance Solutions.

His new responsibilities include improving the link between the needs of clients and the availability of global reinsurance capacity.

Additionally, De Bosini is tasked with aligning the EMEA broking teams with the wider regional strategy to respond to market dynamics.

Both Secker and De Bosini will report directly to EMEA CEO and Reinsurance Solution international chairman Tomas Novotny.

Novotny said: “These appointments reflect our commitment to delivering exceptional client outcomes and strengthening our broking capabilities across the EMEA region. Andrew and Daniele bring deep expertise and a collaborative spirit that will be instrumental in driving our next phase of growth.”

Earlier in October 2025, Aon named Simon Chisholm as the chairman of Asia for Reinsurance Solutions, effective from 1 January 2026.

Chisholm will be responsible for leading the Global Clients Segment in Asian markets, with a particular focus on Japan and Thailand.
