Niu’s Q3 sales surge 49% Y/Y

Electric scooter company Niu Technologies (NASDAQ:NIU [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/NIU]) sold 465,873 units in the third quarter of 2025, up 49.1% from 312,405 units sold in the prior year quarter. This brings the company’s year-to-date sales to 1,019,276 units vs. 697,706 sold in the same period last year.

Sales in China and international markets reached 451,455 and 14,418 units, respectively. In China, sales grew over 50% year-over-year for the third straight quarter, surging more than 70% in Q3—the highest growth rate recorded this year.

The company attributed the growth to the ongoing optimization of its product portfolio, expansion of domestic retail network, and strategic buildup of channel inventory in anticipation of the new electric bicycle standards in China, which began taking effect in September.

In the international markets, electric motorcycle sales volume for the first three quarters of the year surpassed the total full-year 2024 unit sales, continuing its robust growth.
