Precision BioSciences launches $75M stock and warrant offering

* Precision BioSciences (DTIL [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/DTIL]) on Monday reported [https://seekingalpha.com/pr/20301602-precision-biosciences-announces-75-million-offering-of-common-stock-pre-funded-warrants-and]an underwritten offering of about 10.8 million shares of its common stock, along with warrants to buy up to 5.4 million additional shares, at a combined price of $6.14 per share.
* Certain investors will receive pre-funded warrants to purchase up to 1.4 million shares, plus half-warrants to buy up to 700,000 more shares, at a combined price of $6.139995 per unit—essentially the same as the share price, minus a small exercise fee.
* The gross proceeds to Precision from the offering, before deducting the underwriting discounts and commissions and offering expenses, are expected to be approximately $75 million.
