Baidu (NASDAQ:BIDU [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/BIDU]) has unveiled MuseSteamer 2.0, an upgrade to its image-to-video model.

The Chinese internet search giant said the new version delivers breakthroughs in multi-character coordination, life-like ambient sound, and simultaneous output of natural human voices.

The model is also priced as low as 70% of the industry standard, according to the company. Baidu added that the Turbo version currently provides video outputs at RMB 1.4 per 5 seconds, reducing production costs and making high-quality video creation more accessible.

Baidu noted that the model is now fully available across its complete lineup — Turbo, Lite, Pro, and full audio-enabled versions.

Users can access the model by searching ‘Baidu MuseSteamer’ on Baidu Search or by logging onto Huixiang, the company's AI video creation platform.

The company said that enterprise customers can access high-performance video generation services through Qianfan, Baidu's foundation model service platform.
