Accenture, through its venture capital arm Accenture Ventures, has invested in UK-based insurtech start-up Rehuman to improve customer engagement in the insurance sector.
This investment aims to help insurance companies leverage data and AI to enhance personalised customer interactions, thereby promoting stronger customer relationships.
Accenture’s financial support will allow Rehuman to expand its operations and integrate AI further into insurer and broker systems.
Rehuman will also participate in Accenture Ventures’ Project Spotlight programme designed to support data and AI start-ups with Accenture’s industry expertise and client network.
Accenture Insurance industry group lead Khalid Lahraoui said: “Insurance companies today need digital tools that don't just inform but genuinely empower policyholders.
“Our investment in Rehuman’s AI-powered wallet goes beyond digital convenience – it transforms how insurers and brokers engage with policyholders, creating more seamless, personalised and meaningful experiences.”
Rehuman offers an AI-driven platform and digital wallet for brokers to bolster client relations and customer loyalty.
The platform provides automated notifications on renewals, policy lapses and customised insurance advice, helping brokers maintain customer engagement and retention rates.
Policyholders can use Rehuman's digital wallet to manage and securely store insurance policies such as auto, health and life in one place.
The platform employs advanced AI to interpret complex coverage details, identify coverage gaps and compare different insurance options.
