IBM acquires Txture to bolster cloud services

IBM (NYSE:IBM [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/IBM]) said it has acquired Austria-based software company Txture to help clients migrate and modernize hybrid cloud estates.

Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed by IBM in a blog post on Tuesday.

IBM noted [https://newsroom.ibm.com/blog-ibm-acquires-txture-to-help-clients-migrate-and-modernize-hybrid-cloud-estates] that Txture's assets complement IBM Consulting’s Application Migration & Modernization (AM&M) and Cloud Technology Strategy offerings.

"This is more than an acquisition—it’s a strategic step forward in our asset-led consulting strategy. Txture’s automation and recommendation capabilities reduce manual effort, enhance output quality, and enable our consultants to deliver faster, data-backed results," said Mohamad Ali, senior vice president and head of IBM Consulting in the blog post.
