The sentiment around Amazon has not been fantastic lately. What do you think they need to do tonight to sort of maybe get a little mojo back?
00:08 Speaker B
Yeah, it's like, it's like everything kind of with the mega caps that we cover this earning season. There's numbers and there's narrative and both of those things need to to happen in a in a solid way tonight. Numbers-wise, AWS probably needs to grow at least, I would say 19%

and then second or higher. Um and then secondarily, uh the conference call will be especially important in that management had a tough call last quarter. They did not address the competitive question very well in terms of why they are growing so much slower than Microsoft and and now now it looks like Google as well.
00:43 Speaker B
Um, they will have to put on a better performance around that and and again, people give people a vision of why that can't accelerate next year. Google winning Anthropic with this new uh contract they signed recently, that was a tough data point because that in theory should have a lot of that business might have gone to Amazon and now we're sort of not so sure about that.

So, addressing that on the conference call is really going to be important on top of the numbers.
