Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Healthcare and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.09%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were NKT Holding (CSE:NKT), which rose 3.31% or 19.50 points to trade at 609.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 3.04% or 10.50 points to end at 356.10 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was up 1.98% or 30.50 points to 1,574.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novozymes AS (CSE:NSISb), which fell 6.97% or 29.20 points to trade at 390.00 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) declined 1.78% or 11.20 points to end at 619.40 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) was down 0.84% or 12.50 points to 1,472.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 68 to 57 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.61% or 0.38 to $63.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.61% or 0.41 to hit $67.25 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.05% or 1.68 to trade at $3,386.82 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.31% to 6.43, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.47.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.36% at 98.44.
