Vinson & Elkins Advises Bapco Energies in Joint Venture with EOG Resources, Inc.

Vinson & Elkins said it advised Bapco Energies in the Kingdom of Bahrain in closing a landmark strategic concession agreement and related joint venture with EOG Resources Bahrain Awali WLL.

The latter is a wholly owned subsidiary of EOG Resources, Inc. (NYSE: EOG), a United States independent oil and gas exploration and production company, the firm stated.

Vinson & Elkins advised on all aspects of the concession agreement and the joint venture arrangements, including the sales of gas and liquid hydrocarbons produced in the concession area, it said.

Counsel Bader Thabti led the firm’s team assisted by partner Chris Strong, partner Nadine Amr, senior associate Jacob Panagi, and associates Tom Rhys Jones and Nonku Zondo.
