Perpetua Resources gets Export-Import Bank preliminary term sheet on potential $2B debt financing

Perpetua Resources (NASDAQ:PPTA [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/PPTA]) +3.5% pre-market Monday after saying it received [https://seekingalpha.com/pr/20224963-perpetua-resources-receives-preliminary-project-letter-and-indicative-term-sheet-from-the] a preliminary, non-binding indicative financing term sheet from the U.S. Export-Import Bank conveying EXIM's initial due diligence findings on the company's application for $2B in debt financing for the Stibnite antimony and gold project in Idaho.

The preliminary indicative term sheet and preliminary project letter provide a summary of EXIM's initial due diligence findings of the project to date, Perpetua (NASDAQ:PPTA [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/PPTA]) said as it continues to work with EXIM to advance the project through the next stages of EXIM's due diligence and loan application process; the company anticipates final EXIM board consideration by spring 2026.

The Stibnite mine, which is backed by the Trump administration and would be the first U.S. antimony project, contains an estimated reserve of 148M lbs of the metal used in bullets and tanks, as well as in alloys for electric vehicle batteries.
