Baker Hughes announces multi-year agreement with Petrobras

Baker Hughes (NASDAQ:BKR [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/BKR]) announced [https://seekingalpha.com/pr/20235116-baker-hughes-secures-multi-year-contract-with-petrobras-for-offshore-stimulation-vessels] on Wednesday a multi-year agreement with Petrobras to extend the deployment of the Blue Marlin and Blue Orca stimulation vessels.

The agreement supports optimization of offshore oil and gas production in Brazil’s post- and pre-salt fields.

Blue Marlin and Blue Orca will deliver advanced chemical treatments to stimulate wells.

This agreement extends Blue Marlin and Blue Orca's deployment with Petrobras, as the two vessels have operated in Brazil since 2008 and 2023, respectively.

BKR shares were -0.06% pre-market to $47.20, while PBR was down 0.46% to $12.88.
