Jacobs wins design role on a new Uxbridge Moor substation

* Jacobs (NYSE:J [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/J]) has been selected [https://seekingalpha.com/pr/20274749-jacobs-selected-to-design-uks-uxbridge-moor-substation] by Murphy as the civil design partner for the UK's new Uxbridge Moor substation in west London under a multimillion-pound contract from National Grid Electricity Transmission.
* The project aims to enhance the resilience and reliability of London's power supply, supporting the UK's energy transition and meeting growing demand, especially to the west of London.
* The facility will connect new customers to the electricity network and help to meet the significant increase in demand for electricity to the west of London.
