AltaGas (OTCPK:ATGFF [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/ATGFF]) has priced a new offering of $200 million [https://seekingalpha.com/pr/20220492-altagas-announces-200-million-hybrid-note-offering] in junior subordinated notes.
The notes, which pay a fixed interest rate of 5.375%, will mature on December 5, 2055, and can be redeemed by the company after five years.
The offering is expected to close on or about September 5, 2025.
AltaGas plans to use the money from this offering to redeem or repurchase its outstanding Preferred Shares, Series A and Series B.
